NSDAA OPEN CHARITY FLY MATCH 2024
NSDAA are delighted to announce the return of our popular Charity Fly Fishing (bank) match for 2024!
This season, the committee have opted to use the opportunity to raise funds for River Cree Hatchery & Habitat Trust SCIO – RCHHT since inception, have carried out some unbelievable work in our local area which has undoubtedly improved the Salmon fishing stocks on the River Cree.
Tireless, and at times, unseen work is carried out by a team of volunteers come rain, hail or shine, all for the good of the environment and to the benefit of our fishings.
We feel that we have a great opportunity to give something back to help support their ongoing works.
The event is fly fishing only and will take place on Sunday the 25th of August 2024 at Loch Ochiltree between 10am and 5pm.
Registration time – 0900-0945 within the boathouse.
£20 entry fee on the day.
This event includes bonus cash prizes for catching tagged fish and is accompanied by our ever popular raffle.
Competitors are encouraged to bring a donation for the raffle table if they wish!
No requirement to prebook, just turn up, pay in, and fish.
Now, with any charity event comes the plea ……. we are looking for any person/businesses who would like to support the event by way of donation of prizes/services for the match or raffle prizes, monetary donations or sponsoring of a tagged fish (£20 per fish).
If you are interested in doing so, please contact the page via messenger or speak directly to any committee member – all support is gratefully received.
